Abigail Cook, daughter of Abiel Cook, married (…) Stricklin, whose given name and parents are unknown.1

Abigail could be one of at least two persons, daughter of Abiel2 or daughter of Abiel3. One of them married Benjamin Howell, 17 Jul 1751. He was born on 10 Oct 1725, and it's likely she was younger than he. Howell shows she was born in 1720, and died in 1794. Willis states she was born in 1725, same as Benjamin. Notes states that the younger Abigail married a Stricklin, though this is not repeated in the Southampton history. There's no record of the older Abigail marrying anyone; just that she survived her father. Her stone (transcribed, no photo) shows she died 3 Feb 1784, and was 65 and so was born about 1719.2,3,1,4
