Frances Jane Weathers, daughter of Benjamin Weathers and Temperance Johnson, was born at Dinwiddie Co., Virginia, 18 March 1811.1,2,3,4,5 She died at Hollis, Cloud Co., Kansas, 13 May 1885,6,1 and was buried at the Hollis Cemetery, Hollis, Cloud Co., Kansas.1

Frances married, as his 2nd wife, James Voss Price, son of John Lowry Price and Nancy Voss, at Logan Co., Kentucky, 8 September 1841.7,8

Frances was the 11th child and had 4 brothers who were English and never came to America. She was of Welch and English ancestry and was from one of the pioneer families of Dinwiddie Co., Virginia.7,9
