Sir Ralph Neville "Dawraby," K.G., 1st Earl of Westmorland, 4th Lord Neville of Raby, son of Sir John de Neville, K.G., 3rd Lord Neville of Raby and Maud de Percy, was born between 1364 and 1367.1,2,3 He died at Raby Castle, Durham, England, 21 October 1425,1,2,4 and was buried at Collegiate Church of Staindrop, Durham, England.1

Ralph married (1) Margaret Stafford, daughter of Sir Hugh de Stafford, K.G., 2nd Earl of Stafford, 3rd Lord Stafford, Lord Audley and Philippe de Beauchamp, about 19 June 1382;1 he married (2) Joan Beaufort, daughter of Sir John of Gaunt, K.G., Duke of Lancaster, etc. and Katherine de Roet, before 29 November 1396.5,2,4
