Robert I "le Grand," Count of Dreux and Braine, son of Louis VI "le Gros," King of France and Adelaide of Savoy, was born about 1123.1 He died 11 October 1188.1 Both he and his second wife were buried at Abbey of Saint-Yved, Braine, Aisne, France.1

Robert married (1), as her 2nd husband, Hawise of Salisbury, daughter of Walter Fitz Edward of Salisbury and Sibyle de Chaources, in 1144 or 1145;2 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Agnés de Baudement, Countess of Braine, daughter of Guy de Baudement, seigneur of Braine and Alix (…), in late 1152.1
