Robert II, Count of Dreux and Braine, son of Robert I "le Grand," Count of Dreux and Braine and Agnés de Baudement, Countess of Braine, was born about 1154.1 He died 28 December 1218.1 Both he and his 2nd wife were buried at Abbey of Saint-Yved, Braine, France.1
Robert married (1), as her 4th husband, Mathilde of Burgundy, daughter of Raymond of Burgundy Count of Grignon and Agnès of Montpensier, between 1177 and 1180;1 they were divorced on grounds of consanguinity in 1181;1 he married (2) Yolande de Coucy, daughter of Raoul de Coucy, seigneur of Coucy & Marie and Agnes de Hainault, about 1184.1,2
