Agnès of Merania
Agnès of Merania, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born in 1172.1 She died in childbirth, at Château Poissy, France, about 18 July 1201,1 and was buried at church of the Abbey of Saint-Corentin, France.1
Agnès married, as his 3rd wife, Philippe II "Auguste," King of France, son of Louis VII, King of France and Adelaide de Blois, 1 June 1196;1 he repudiated the marriage, which had not been recognized by the pope, 7 September 1200.1
