Rev. Reuben Parmalee, son of Abraham Parmalee and Mary Stanley, was born at Guilford, Connecticut, 21 April 1759.1 He died in 1843.1

Reuben married Laura Collins, daughter of William Collins and Ruth Cook, at Guilford 22 May 1782.1,2

In 1790, his household was probably the one enumerated at Hinesburgh, Chittenden Co., Vermont, with 1 free white male over 16, 1 under 16, and 3 free white females.3
