Thomas Parr, Esq., son of Bryan Parr and Elizabeth Shakerley, was born about 1516, being age 12 at this father's death.1 He died after 15 September 1558, when he made his will.2 In his will, he requested burial at Prescot, Lancashire, England.2

Thomas married (1) Ellen Gerard, daughter of Thomas Gerard, when she was age 11, and the marriage was likely never consumated;1 he married (2) Margaret Leyland, daughter of Sir William Leyland, Knt. and Anne Singleton, before 1540.2,1

Thomas left a will dated 15 September 1558, naming:

children Bryan, Henre, Thomas, Margaret, Jane, Katheryn, Grace, Elysabeth;
sister Anne;
debts of Thomas Eccleston;
