Jeremiah Ormsby, son of Thomas Ormsby and Mary Fitch, was born at Taunton, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, 25 November 1672.1,2 He died before 6 September 1748, when his widow asked that her son-in-law, Benjamin Hix, administer the estate.3

Jeremiah married Mehitabel Wilmarth, daughter of Thomas Wilmarth and Mary Robinson, at Swansea, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, 21 November 1705.4,5,3
