Alethia Bates Cook, daughter of Dr. Ambrose Ellis Cook, MD and Sarah Piersall Wheeler, was born at Bound Brook, Somerset Co., New Jersey, 21 September 18101,2,3,4 and baptized there, 25 November 1810.1 She died 3 August 1893 and was buried the Old Brick Reformed Church Cemetery, Marlboro, Monmouth Co., New Jersey.2
