Sarah Piersall Wheeler, daughter of David Wheeler and Hannah Youngs, was born at Hanover, Morris Co., New Jersey, 1 March 1774.1,2,3,4 She died at Atlantic Township, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, 9 December 1857,5,2,1 and was buried in the Cooke plot at the Old Brick Reformed Church Cemetery, Marlboro, Monmouth Co., New Jersey.1,6

Sarah married Dr. Ambrose Ellis Cook, MD, son of Colonel Ellis Cook and Margaret Griswold Cocker, at Hanover 17 June 1794.7,2,4,8

On 11 October 1811, she was a member of the Bound Brook Presbyterian Church, but Ambrose was not on the list.9
