Dorcas [Harrold], whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died at Greene Co., Tennessee, before 26 October 1812 when her co-executor of the will of John Carder, as "surviving executor," presented the inventory of the estate.1

Dorcas married John Carder, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here, at Greene Co., about 1803.1

Four sons were bound out as apprentices, between 1813 and 1815. Amasa Harrold, executor of John Carder, first pays taxes for J. Carder's heirs in 1813.1
