On 13 Sep 1828 David D. Carder of Bledsoe Co. conveyed to Isaac Babb a Deed of conveyance . . . to an undivided tract of land lying in Greene County, Tennessee on the waters of lick creek . . . which descended to me from my father John Carder . . . signed David D. Carder. Greene Co. Deed Book 14 & Bledsoe Co. Deed Book E, pg 255.
The David Carder family appears in the 1850, '60 & '70 federal census' for Bledsoe & Warren Co., Tennesse. Years of birth for each of his children are based on the ages as given in the Census'. All in the family are shown as being born in Tennessee. David only aged 6 years between 1850 and 1860, so we presume he was born between 1804-1807 as he had to have been of age when he sold his share of his father's land to Isaac Babb in 1828.
David was probably born in Greene Co. He may have married there, or he may have married after arriving in Bledsoe Co. when he purchased his first land there in 1824. He purchased other land in 1831 and 1836, totaling about 450 acres. The last two tracts were sold 27 Jan 1868 when he moved to Warren Co., TN.2,1
