Plhilp Lynes, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died after 1623.1

Plhilp married,as her second husband, Katherine Dowsing, daughter of William Dowsing and Marion (…), at Honingham, Norfolk, England, 12 August 1604.1

Katherine was about age 45 at the birth of Frances Lynes, and this was likely her last child. Katherine probably died before 1621 as Philip had three more children baptized at Wymondham, Norfolk:

* John Lynes, 4 Feb 1620/1
* Joseph Lynes, 12 Dec 1623
* Benjamin Lynes, 12 Dec 1623

On 30 April 1636, " the wife of Philip Lynes" was buried at Wymondham, but this likely refers to Philip's second wife and mother of the three later children.2
