Daniel Stearns, son of Nathaniel Stearns and Elizabeth Dix, was born at Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 1 March 1700/1.1 He died at Watertown, 17 March 1746/47.2,1

Daniel married (1) Anna (…), say 1720;1 he married (2) Mercy Grant, daughter of Joseph Grant and Mary Grafton, at Watertown, in 1724.1

Daniel Stearns was a cordwainer of Watertown and probably lived on the homestall of the first Isaac Stearns, near the Cambridge line. When he died in 1747, his estate was administered by his widow.3,4
