Nathaniel Stearns, son of Samuel Stearns and Hannah Manning, was born at Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 13 December 1668.1,2 He died at Watertown, 24 August 1716.3,2

Nathaniel married (1) Elizabeth Dix, daughter of John Dix and Elizabeth Barnard, at Watertown, before 8 October 1694, when their first child was born;4,2,5 he married (2) Sarah Nevinson, whose parents are unknown or not traced, at Watertown, 29 October 1713.2

In the division of his father's estate, 1683, he received the farm which had been the residence of his grandfather, Isaac Stearns.

He was a selectman of Watertown when he died.6,7
