Charles Sexton, son of Captain Joseph Sexton and Hannah Wright, was born at Enfield, Connecticut, 27 January 1708.1 He died while on the British military expedtion to Havana, Cuba, 16 September 1762.2,3,4

Charles married Bathsheba Geer, daughter of Shubael Geer and Sarah Abbe, at Enfield, 7 January 1736/37.5,3

Charles Sexton was active in the French and Indian War, serving in the reduction of Fort Louis at Oswego, and in the capture of Montreal in 1760. He served in an expedition to Havana in 1762, but died on the return voyage.4
