Henry I, King of France
Henry I, King of France, son of Robert II "the Pious," King of France and Constance of Arles, was born before 17 May 1008.1,2 He died at Vitry-en-Brie, France, 4 August 1060.1,2
Henry was first betrothed to Mathilde of Franconia, daughter of Conrad II "the Salic," Holy Roman Emperor and Gisele of Swabia, but she died at the age of 7 in 1034;3,4 he married (1) Mathilde of Friesland, whose ancestry is uncertain and not traced here, in 1043;4 he married (2) Anne of Kiev, daughter of Jaroslav I and Ingeborg, 19 May 1051.1,2,4
