Adelaide, Countess of Aumale, daughter of Robert I "the Magnificent," Duke of Normandy and another mistress (not Herleve) was born before 1035.1,2 She died between 1081 and 1084.3

Adelaide married (1) Enguerrand II, Count of Ponthieu, son of Hugh II, Count of Ponthieu and Bertha of Aumale, about 1045.2,3 The marriage of Adelaide and Enguerrand was probably annulled about 1049/50 after the Council of Reims excommunicated Enguerrand on grounds of incest, "evidently because Enguerrand's sister had been married to Adelaide's uncle";4 she married (2) Lambert of Boulogne, Count of Lens, son of Eustace I and Maud of Louvain, between 1050 and 1054;2,3 she married (3) Eudes III, Count of Champagne, son of Ètienne, Count of Troyes and Méaux and Adelaide, about 1060.5
