Maria Vinhagen, daughter of Jan Dirkszen Vinhagen and Maritje (…), was born say 1685.1 She died at Albany, Albany Co., New York, 28 February 1760.2

Maria married Myndert Roseboom, son of Henderyck Yannsen Roseboom and Gysbertje Lansing, at Albany, 30 November 1705.3,2,4

Her surname is given as Vinhagen in her marriage record, the baptism records of some of her children, and as a witness to the baptisms of some of her would–be nieces and nephews. The marriage occurred "at the bride's house, with no witnesses recorded.

Records of the Reformed Dutch Church Records of Albany show these Vinhagens (spelling varies) (some women are shown with their married name):
marriage of Johannes Vinhagen and Maria Van Tricht (21 Mar 1706)
baptism of Nicolaas Visscher, son of Nanning Visscher and Alida Vinhagen (25 Nov 1705), Wit: Johannes Vinhagen, Jr., Lysbeth Visscher.
baptism of Henricus, son of Johannes Beekman and Eva Vinhagen (30 Mar 1707), Wit Meyndert and Maria Roseboom

baptism of Neeltje, daughter of Joh. Beekman and Eva Vinhagen (27 Oct 1710), Wit Johs. Lansing, Maria Visser

baptism of Alida, daughter of Meindert and Maria Roseboom (20 Sep 1713) Wit Gerrit Roseboom, Eva Beekman
baptism of Joannes, son of Meyndert and Marya Roseboom (15 Jan 1716), Wit Hendrik and Gerretie Roseboom

Talcott does not include her as a daughter of Jans Vinhagen, nor does Boyer (apparently just following Talcott and Riker), but from her witnessing the various baptisms of her would–be nieces and nephews, her would–be sibblings witnessing the baptisms of her own children, and Jans Vinhagen Sr. witnessing the baptism of her first born, it seems pretty clear she is the daughter of Jans Vinhagen.5,2,4,6,7,8
