Sarah Miles, daughter of Captain James Miles and Phebe Thompson, was born at Wallingford, Connecticut, 20 May 1749.1 She died at New Haven, Connecticut, 26 December 1809, at age 61,1 and was buried at Grove St. Cemetery, New Haven, Connecticut.1

Sarah married William McCrackan, son of Andrew McCrackan and Margaret McDowall, at New Haven 8 October 1772.1
