Katherine Wingfield, daughter of Sir John Wingfield, Knt. and Eleanor de Brews, was born about 1349.1 She died before 1 October 1386,1 and was buried at Church of the Carthusians, Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding, Yorkshire, England.1

Katherine married Michael de la Pole, 1st Earl of Suffolk, son of William de la Pole and Katherine (…), before 18 October 1361.2

As only daughter and heiress, Katherine Wingfield brought to her husband a great Suffolk inheritance, to include Wingfield, which he built into a castle.1
