Ephraim Pierce, son of Daniel Pierce and Elizabeth (…), was born at Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 15 October 1673.1,2 He died at Groton, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 27 February 1740/41.3

Ephraim married Mary Whitney, daughter of Joshua Whitney and Abigail Tarbell, say 1695.4,5

Ephraim Peirce originally settled in Groton, moved to Lunenburg as one of its first settlers, and then returned to finish out his years in Groton. He was one of the first selectmen of Groton in 1728.6
