Sarah Ann Barrow, daughter of Nathaniel Barrow and Anne Clarke, was born 3 March 1785,1 and baptized at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados, 8 April 1785.2 She died at Everton, Lancashire, England, 23 April 1859,1,3,4 and was buried at St George, Everton, Lancashire, England.1

Sarah married John Higginson, Gent., son of Jonathan Higginson and Elizabeth Pickford, at Barbados about 1806.5,6

There was a simple death notice in the Liverpool paper:

"23rd Sarah Ann relict John HIGGINSON Esq Breck Hey Breck Rd Everton."3
