Zilla Pierson, daughter of Abraham Pierson and Affia Crane, was born at Morristown, Morris Co., New Jersey, in 1774.1,2 She died at Madison, Morris Co., New Jersey, 26 December 1817, in her 43rd year,2 and was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Madison, Morris Co., New Jersey.3

Zilla married Captain Luke Carter, son of Luke Carter and Hannah Miller, say 1796.2
