Sir William de Brewes, Knt., 1st Lord Brewes, son of John de Brewes, lord of Gower and Margaret of Wales, was born about 1224.1 He died at Findon, Sussex, England, 6 January 1290/91.2

William married (1) Aline de Multon, daughter of Thomas de Multon and Maud de Vaux, say 1250;1 he married (2) Agnes de Moels, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), after 1267;1 he married (3) Mary de Roos, daughter of Sir Robert de Roos, Knt. and Isabel d'Aubeney, in or before 1271.1
