Sir John de Courtenay, Knt., son of Sir Robert de Courtenay, Knt. and Mary de Vernon, died 3 May 1274,1 and was buried at Ford Abbey, Dorset, England.1

John married (1) Emma (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here);1 he married (2) Maud de Caneville, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before January 1233/34;1 he married (3) Isabel de Vere, daughter of Sir Hugh de Vere, Knt., 4th Earl of Oxford and Hawise de Quincy, after 6 October 1240.1
