Sir Thomas de Roos, Knt., 4th Lord Roos of Helmsley, son of Sir William de Roos, Knt., 2nd Lord Roos of Helmsley and Margery de Badlesmere, was born at Stoke Albany, Northamptonshire, England, 13 January 1336/37.1 He died at Uffington, Lincolnshire, England, 9 June 1384.1

Thomas married, as her 2nd husband, Beatrice de Stafford, daughter of Sir Ralph de Stafford, K.G., 2nd Lord Stafford and Margaret de Audley, 1 January 1358/59.1
