Sir William de Roos, Knt., 2nd Lord Roos of Helmsley, son of Sir William de Roos, Knt., 1st Lord Roos of Helmsley and Maud de Vaux, was born about 1288.1 He died 3 February 1342/43,1 and was buried at Kirkham Priory, Yorkshire, England.1

William married Margery de Badlesmere, daughter of Sir Bartholomew de Badlesmere, Knt., 1st Lord Badlesmere and Margaret de Clare, 18 October 1363.1
