Sir Bartholomew de Badlesmere, Knt., 1st Lord Badlesmere
Sir Bartholomew de Badlesmere, Knt., 1st Lord Badlesmere, son of Guncelin Badlesmere and Joan Fitz Bernard, fought for the rebels at the Battle of Boroughbridge (16 March 1322), was later captured at Stow Park, attainted, and subsequently hanged as a traitor at Canterbury, Kent, England, 14 April 1322.1
Bartholomew married, as her 2nd husband, Margaret de Clare, daughter of Sir Thomas de Clare, Knt. and Juliane Fitz Maurice, before the Michaelmas term, (September 1305).2,3
