Sir Robert de Willoughby, Knt., 4th Lord Willoughby of Ersby, son of Sir John de Willoughby, Knt., 3rd Lord Willoughby of Ersby and Cecily Ufford, was born between 1348 and 1350.1 He died 9 August 1396.1 He and both wives were buried at Spilsby, Lincolnshire, England.1

Robert married (1) Margery la Zouche, daughter of Sir William la Zouche, Knt., 2nd Lord Zouche of Harringworth and Elizabeth de Roos, before 1 October 1369;2 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Elizabeth le Latimer, daughter of Sir William le Latimer, K.G., 4th Lord Latimer and Elizabeth de Arundel, before 20 April 1394.3
