Frances Ball, daughter of Guy Ball and Catherine Duboys, was born probably shortly before her baptism at Christ Church Parish, Barbados, 2 March 1717/18.1,2,3 She died 18 May 1761,1 and was buried at St. Mary Magdalene, Richmond, Surrey, England, 24 May 1761.4

Frances married (1) Edward Lascelles, son of Daniel Lascelles, M.P. and Mary Lascelles, at Christ Church Parish, Barbados, 1 January 1731/32;1,2,5 she married (2) Admiral Francis Holburne, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at St. Thomas, Barbados, 28 November 1749.6,1,7
