George Soule to Jennie Luene (Logan) Billings
Mary Buckett, whose ancestry is uncertain, was born about 1605.1,2,3 She died at Duxbury, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, December 1676.3

Mary married George Soule, son of Jan Sol, at Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, before 1626.3,4

There are two reasonable theories of Mary Buckett's origins. Throop proposed she was born in Leiden, the daughter of Jan Bucquet and Marye de Rouicheau. Johnson suggests she is the Mary Beckett, bp at St. Mary Watford, Hertfordshire and daughter of John and Ann (Alden) Beckett. Johnson uses very sound reasoning in his presentation, but notes that her parentage "has not been conclusively determined with this or any previous research."1,2
