Edward of Woodstock "the Black Prince," Prince of Wales, son of Edward III, King of England and Philippa Hainault, was born at Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England, 15 June 1330.1 He died at Westminster, England, 8 June 1376.1

Edward married Joan of Kent "Fair Maid of Kent," Princess of Wales, daughter of Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent and Margaret Wake, Countess of Kent, Lady Wake, 10 October 1362.1
