Hannah Bruce, daughter of Martin Bruce and Ann Skaife, was born probably shortly before her baptism at Sessay, Yorkshire, England, 27 December 1737.1 She died after 1812.2

Hannah married Thomas Barker, son of Thomas Barker and Mary Watson, at Sessay 23 April 1759.3
