Munia "Mayor," Countess of Castile, daughter of Sancho I, Count of Castile and Urraca, (of Navarre?), was born about 996.1 She died at Frómista, Spain, after 13 September 10651,2 and was buried at St. Salvador of Oña, Spain.1

Munia married Sancho III, King of Navarre, son of Garcia IV, King of Navarre and Ximena Fernández.2,1
