Jeremiah Halsey Cook, son of Samuel Cook and Elizabeth Halsey, was born at New York, 9 February 1785.1,2 He died at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., California, 14 September 1850.3

Jeremiah married Mary Rogers, whose parents are unknown.2,4

Administration of the estate Jeremiah Halsey Cook of Southampton who died at San Francisco, 14 September 1850, was granted to his brother Sullivan Cook, 21 December 1850.
Bond by Albert G. Cook and Hugh Halsey.
Named Heirs were widow Mary Cook (partially insane and therefore incompetent), and two children: Mary Melvina, wife of Hortation N.Taft, of Waterloo, N. Y.' and Julia Ann Adelia, wife of David C. Vanderlip, somewhere in Texas.5
