Samuel Cook, son of David Cook and Hannah Topping, was born in 1764.1 He died 15 August 1833,1 and was buried at the Hayground Cemetery, Bridgehampton, Suffolk Co., New York.1

Samuel married Elizabeth Halsey, daughter of Jeremiah Halsey.2

Samuel left a will dated 13 December 1832, and proved 18 Nov 1833:
Bequests to wife Elizabeth with use of part of the estate for widowhood, then to son Albert G.
Legacies to daughters: Hannah, wife of Edward Halsey
Proculia, wife of Andrew Halsey,
Emily, bequests and maintenance
son Eleazar
Residual estate to sons Jeremiah H., Sullivan, Samuel, and Albert
Executors: sons Jeremiah and Sullivan
Witnesses: Rufus Rose, David Haynes.3
