Dana Selwin Logan, son of Samuel C. Logan and Paulina Girton, was born at Blandinsville, McDonough Co., Illinois, 14 March 1856.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 He died at Topeka, Shawnee Co., Kansas, 9 September 1928,2,1 and was buried at Topeka Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee Co., Kansas, 10 September 1928.2,11

Dana married (1) Luilla Deville, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at McDonough Co., Illinois, 25 February 1879;12 he married (2) Harriett Marreah Bentley, daughter of George R. Bentley and Thursia Maria Jones, at Blandinsville, 3 July 1881;13,14,15 he married (3) Minnie Elizabeth Dochow, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Oberlin, Decatur Co., Kansas, 1 January 1900.14,16,17,18

Dana, a farmer, lived most of his life in Kansas. He moved there in the spring of 1885, rented a house in Burlingame, then moved, 1 June 1907, to 3 miles southeast of Eskridge onto a farm out of town. On 6 Oct 1908, he bought 400 acres 7 miles south of Topeka that was known as the "What Cheer Farm." Years later he sold this farm to the government and Forbes Air Force Base and Supply Depot was built there.

Dana's first wife died after 7 months of marriage.14,15
