Elisha Buchanan "Buck" Linder, son of William Linder and Mary Jane Hall, was born at Jackson Co., Tennessee, 26 September 1856.1,2,3 He died at Enfield, White Co., Illinois, in December 1876.4,5,6

Elisha married Emma Luella Epperson, daughter of David Lambert Epperson and Susan Jane Smith, at Enfield 9 April 1876.7,8,6,5

A William Linder is identified as the owner of Lot #5 in Section 3 of the Big Prairie Cemetery in White Co. This is perhaps the resting place of Elisha, but no stone is recorded. His parents are buried at Mills Shoals.9
