Mary married William Linder, son of Joseph Linder and Nancy Christian, 20 August 1834.

Mary Jane Linder, widow of William Linder, was born in Jackson County, Tennessee, Oct. 31st, 1818, and died at Mill Shoals, White County, Illinois, May 20th, 1876, aged 57 years, 6 months and 20 days. Sister Linder professed religion at the age of 15 years and united with the M.E. Church in her native State. She was married to William Linder August 20th, 1854 [sic] and came with him to Illinois in 1859.4
