Alice Pickering, daughter of Joseph Pickering, Gent. and Alice (…), was born about 1650 if she is the Alice Dowding, age 65, in the 1715 census of St. Peter's Parish.1 She died before 1 February 1725, when her will was proved.2
Alice married Thomas Dowding, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here).2
In the census of 1715, she appears to be the "Mrs Alice Dowding and An Gosling & daughter" counted at St. Peter's Parish, ages 65, 35, and 8.1
Alice left a will dated 18 July 1724, and proved 1 February 1725 naming or mentioning:
