Sarah Newman, daughter of Samuel Newman and Sarah Peck, was born at Stamford, Connecticut, 4 July 1753 or 13 August 1754.1 She died at Rensselaerville, Albany Co., New York, 15 September 1798.1

Sarah married Abraham Fancher, son of John Fancher and Hannah Weed, at Stamford before 15 September 1773.1
