William Hardie, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born at Canada, about 1817.1 He died at Troy, Rensselaer Co., New York, 30 October 1852.2

William married Laura Caroline Henry, daughter of Dr. Simeon Zelotus Henry, MD and Laura Canfield White, at Troy 16 August 1841.3

Said to have been an artist, but marriage notice says "esquire".
