Adele de France, daughter of Robert II "the Pious," King of France and Constance of Arles, was born at Ypres, France, between 1010 and 1015.1,2,3 She died at Messines, France, 8 January 1079,1,2 and was buried at Messines abbey, Messines, France.1

Adele married Baldwin V, Count of Flanders, son of Baldwin IV "the Bearded," Marquis of Flanders and Otgiva of Luxembourg, at Paris, France, in 1028.4,3
