Percy Leach, daughter of Reverend Richard Leach and Mary Strong, was born at Torrington, Connecticut, 3 September 1782.1 She died at Royalton, Niagara Co., New York, 2 September 1847,2 and was buried at Somerset Cemetery, Somerset, Niagara Co., New York.3

Percy married (1) Mark Keith, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), say 1803;2 she married (2), as his 2nd wife, William W. Baldridge, son of Michael Baldridge and Mabel Wilson, at Lyons, Wayne Co., New York, 7 February 1822.4,2

The History of Torrington by Orcutt states Percy died the same day she was born, but that is not in the printed vital records of the town, nor have I found any other evidence for a second Percy Leach. She was also having children in the early 1800's (beginning in 1804).

Percy Keith and Richard Leach, her surety, executed guardianship bonds for each of the six Keith children in 1818.

Percy later moved to Lyons, New York where, as "Miss Percy Keith", she married William Baldridge in 1822. Richard Leach also moved to Lyons, so Percy and her six children were probably in his household.5,6,7,8
