Elijah Garten, son of Uriah Garten and Winifred (…), was born at St George Parish, Spotsylvania Co., Virginia, 1725.1 He died at Orange Co., Virginia, May 1774.2

Elijah married Frances (Fanny) Dickenson, daughter of Nathaniel Dickenson and Elizabeth (…), about 1750.3

Elijah Garten died without a will and his estate was sold at auction, 13 Oct 1775. The accounting was presented in court, 20 May 1777.2
