Pedigree
Sir Gilbert de Clare, Knt., son of Sir Thomas de Clare, Knt. and Juliane Fitz Maurice, was born at Limerick, Ireland, about February 1280/81.1 He died before 17 November 1307.1

Gilbert married Isabel de Despenser, daughter of Sir Hugh le Despenser, Knt., Earl of Winchester, 1st Lord Despenser and Isabel de Beauchamp, say 1306.2
