Teresa of Portugal, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born about 1176.1 She died about 17 June 1250.2

Teresa married Alfonso IX, King of Leon, son of Fernando II, King of Leon and Urraca of Portugal, at Guimaraes, Spain, 11 February 1191;1 their marriage was annulled for consanguinity by Pope Celestine III at the 2nd Council of Salamanca in 1194.1
