Isabella of Aragon, daughter of Jaime I "el Conquistador," King of Aragon and Yolande of Hungary, was born between 1243 and 1247.1,2 She died at Cosenza, Calabria, Italy, 29 January 1271, when she fell from her horse while pregnant while returning from the Tunisian crusade.1,2 Both she and her husband were buried at Abbey of Saint-Denis, Melun, France.3

Isabella married Philippe III, King of France, son of Saint Louis IX, King of France and Marguerite of Provence, at Clermont-en-Auvergne, France, 6 July 1262.2,4
